In this cult classic from the early 80’s a blade runner, Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), must pursue and try to terminate four replicants who stole a spaceship and returned to Earth to find their creator. The postmodern production design of Blade Runner became hugely influential within the sci-fi genre. In particular Deckard’s apartment, set in the LA based Ennis House, shows an astounding level of detail was put into the set decoration. Items such as the Coonley Desk (which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright - who also designed the Ennis House) and the Argyle Chair are just some of the items scattered throughout the shadowy set.Read more »
